Atlanta, June 20, 2016 – Reinvestment Fund and Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership (ANDP) announced Yonina Gray as a new Director of Business Development. This is a unique position that will lead the growth of community revitalization efforts of both Reinvestment Fund and ANDP in the Atlanta metropolitan region.
Ms. Gray’s work will raise the visibility of both organizations in the Atlanta market, building relationships and developing lending pipelines, for each, while identifying joint opportunities when applicable. A recent Chicago transplant, Ms. Gray brings with her a strong interpersonal and analytical skill set, with a particular affinity for work in low-income communities and a desire to promote equitable community development.
Ms. Gray brings six years of experience developing relationships with communities, corporations and local governments for economic and community development outcomes. Ms. Gray most recently worked for the Metropolitan Planning Council in Chicago, where she managed a regional Employer-Assisted Housing program, helping employers leverage their resources to promote their workforce goals while supporting sustainable communities through strategic real estate investments. Ms. Gray advised hospital leadership on new community development investment opportunities that emerged with the Affordable Care Act.
Ms. Gray has also published research that has contributed to Chicago’s progressive transit-oriented development policy. As the new Director of Business Development, Ms. Gray will build on her lifelong interest in channeling investment and development toward underserved communities.
