Reinvestment Fund announced Yonina Gray as its new Director of External Relations, responsible for driving national business development objectives to establish new market presence and relationships that pave the way for organizational growth. Ms. Gray brings over a decade of experience building catalytic relationships between communities, organizations, governments and other stakeholders.
Previously serving as the Director of Business Development for Reinvestment Fund in Atlanta, Ms. Gray helped put Reinvestment Fund’s boots on the ground when it first entered the market and has since grown the organization’s brand power in that region. Ms. Gray also supported Reinvestment Fund’s partner in Atlanta, ANDP, a nationally-recognized affordable housing thought leader; with this transition she will be fully dedicated to Reinvestment Fund.
Ms. Gray is passionate about empowering low-wealth communities and promoting equitable community development. She serves as an advisory committee member for The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta’s Georgia Social Impact Collaborative and a board member for The Incremental Development Alliance, a national nonprofit that trains small-scale developers through real-talk introductions to the world of property development.
She previously worked for the Metropolitan Planning Council in Chicago, where she managed a regional Employer-Assisted Housing program, helping employers leverage their resources to promote their workforce goals while supporting sustainable communities through strategic real estate investments. Ms. Gray also advised hospital leadership on new community development investment opportunities that emerged with the Affordable Care Act.
Ms. Gray holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School.
