Interns

Asia King
Policy Solutions Intern

Where do you go to school and what are you studying towards?
I am pursuing my master’s degree in City and Regional Planning at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. I am concentrating in Community Development, with a strong focus in research methods.

What attracted you to Reinvestment Fund for an internship?
Reinvestment Fund’s policy solutions department answers a wide range of interesting questions, the answers to which have implications for on the ground projects. It is fulfilling to know that my natural curiosity can be put to good use.

What are some of the things you will be working on for Reinvestment Fund during your internship? What do you hope to learn from your internship here?
I will be assisting the Policy Solutions Department, researching how anchor institutions work to provide services and development to their neighborhoods.

Is there anything else that you would like to share that we didn’t ask you?
I am endlessly impressed with the dedication to lunchtime workouts in the office. I can only hope that one day I too will make it through an entire Intensity video.
