Where do you go to school and what are you studying towards?

I studied at Penn State University for a bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences and Technology with a focus in Systems Integration.

What attracted you to Reinvestment Fund for a summer internship?

The mission and purpose of the company is what really caught my attention. The ability to utilize what I know to greatly impact and improve the lives of others was something I wanted to be a part of. Also, the ability to work in a team and solve business problems and improve business flow was fascinating to me.

What are some of the things you will be working on for Reinvestment Fund during your internship? What do you hope to learn from your internship here?

The best thing about working in IT is, you get to spend time with every department to help with their needs. The day-to-day tasks change as you are called in to help with technical problems from one of the many departments of Reinvestment Fund. This includes things like monitoring internal systems, small project to help automate process’, and fixing computer problems. I hope to learn more about how IT improves business process’ that helps the company continue to grow.

Share something interesting you have learned about Reinvestment Fund or the industry in your time here.
