Where do you go to school and what are you studying towards?
I am a senior at Lehigh University studying political science, art history, and economics.
What attracted you to Reinvestment Fund for a summer internship?
I was attracted to Reinvestment Fund because of its dedication to neighborhood revitalization. I grew up right outside of center city Philadelphia, and have witnessed the positive impact that Reinvestment Fund has had on surrounding communities. As an intern, I hope to contribute to its ongoing success.
What are some of the things you will be working on for Reinvestment Fund this summer? What do you hope to learn from your internship here?
I will be working on the Fund for Quality (FFQ) under Bevin Parker-Cerkez. Within this project, I will have the opportunity to work with staff from the Public Health Management Cooperation (PHMC), as well as FFQ recipients. I hope to learn more about high-quality child care, and the importance of early childhood education in community revitalization.
