Where do you go to school and what are you studying towards?
I’m currently an MPA/MBA candidate at the Kennedy School of Government and the Wharton School of Business.
What attracted you to Reinvestment Fund for a summer internship?
Having spent four plus years in international development, I now wish to focus on domestic issues. In my research into the best way to make the transition, I kept hearing about CDFIs and, in particular, the Reinvestment Fund. Turns out one of the biggest CDFIs in the country is located three blocks from my apartment!
What are some of the things you will be working on for Reinvestment Fund during your internship? What do you hope to learn from your internship here?
I don’t have a finance background, so in addition to learning more about domestic development and issues, I want to understand how we assess and underwrite loans.
Share something interesting you have learned about Reinvestment Fund or the industry in your time here.
I love PolicyMap. I’m a map geek, so whenever I have some downtime, I’ll go on PolicyMap and explore all I can about the places I’ve lived.
Is there anything else that you would like to share that we didn’t ask you?
I’m a proud Texan, and I’m terrified of spiders. Everything else is incidental.
