Adam Steinberg
Mellon / ACLS Public Fellow

Dr. Steinberg joined Reinvestment Fund for a two-year fellowship in 2016. He’s currently working on a study of reverse mortgage foreclosures in Southeast Pennsylvania and writing a report on a fair housing case in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Previously he assisted in the market value analysis of Akron, Ohio, and Houston, and in the childcare analysis of Akron and Philadelphia.

Before joining Reinvestment Fund, Dr. Steinberg managed the walking tour and food programs at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, where he developed new programs that linked the history of immigration to New York’s contemporary built environment and immigrant culture. His doctoral research at Rutgers examined the impediments to historic preservation on New York City’s Lower East Side.
