Ms. Acuña joined Reinvestment Fund in 2015 as a Research Analyst, performing quantitative and qualitative research to support Policy Solutions’ work. Currently, her work involves updating the New Orleans Market Value Analysis, conducting spatial analysis of Northwest Philadelphia to inform economic development strategies, and developing analytical tools to evaluate the impact of Reinvestment Fund investments on low-income communities. Furthermore, she will be highly involved in food access research, including developing geospatial models to help strengthen local supply chains.
Prior to joining Reinvestment Fund, Ms. Acuña worked as a Senior Research Analyst for the University of Maryland School of Social Work Institute for Innovation and Implementation where she was engaged in conducting policy research focused on improving child wellbeing. She also worked as an Economic Analyst for the State of Michigan where she conducted economic research on statewide and local labor market conditions.
