Damien Wilson is Senior Director for the HBCU Brilliance Initiative. In this role, he is primarily responsible for providing technical and financial support to position HBCUs to make critical investments in their facilities, financial stability, and long-term growth to better serve their institutional missions.
Prior to joining the Reinvestment Fund, Mr. Wilson owned and operated commercial real estate development advisory firms focused on community development financing and public-private partnership financing, with a niche focus on New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC).
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Morehouse College and an MBA from The Wharton School.
