With close to 4 decades of experience, we structure and deliver flexible financing that supports development needs and results in investment that strengthen neighborhoods, scale social enterprises, and create resilient communities, where everyone can thrive and prosper. Our financing toolkit includes a variety of loan products with flexible terms and features.
Reinvestment Fund provides loans for affordable housing, clean energy, early childhood education, food systems, health services, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, K-12 education, arts and culture, other community facilities, and social impact real estate projects.
We do not generally provide working capital loans for small businesses but may consider them as part of a real estate loan request as described above. To find a small business CDFI lender, please visit OFN’s CDFI locator.
Loan terms vary including short term and mini-permanent financing. Projects may also leverage New Market Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, or LIHTC funds. We invite you to visit our impact stories.
