Matthew Simon is Program Impact Data Manager at Reinvestment Fund. In this role, he leads data collection, analysis, and reporting related to Reinvestment Fund’s programs, including designing initiatives and collaborating with data team staff to capture and convey impact across the organization.
Matthew works at the intersection of data, research, and project strategy. His background includes building and improving data systems, leading evaluation and analytics projects, and helping organizations make better use of information in education, health, and community-focused settings. Much of his work has involved turning complex or messy data into clear reports, dashboards, frameworks, and decision-making tools that people can use. He often serves as a resource on topics like data interpretation, reporting, research design, evaluation, and process improvement, and his interests include public sector innovation, community impact, and the practical side of building data-driven systems.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Biology from Excelsior College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Analytics. He is based in Brooklyn, NY.
