Rachel Posner brings a background in sustainable agriculture and economic development, with a focus on expanding capital access for small businesses and producers. In her role as Program Manager, she works with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement the USDA Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI) Partnerships Program and supports implementation of the overall HFFI program. She began her food systems career more than a decade ago through roles at local farmers markets and volunteering on farms in the U.S. and India.
Prior to joining Reinvestment Fund, Rachel worked at Improving Economies for Stronger Communities (IESC), where she managed agricultural financing programs supporting small and medium enterprises, women, and youth across East Africa and the Caribbean. Prior to IESC, she worked at the United Nations Foundation on compliance and operations.
Rachel holds a B.A. in Sociology and Marketing from the College of William & Mary.
