Reema Fakih

Managing Director, National Lending

Reema Fakih is the Managing Director of National Lending at Reinvestment Fund and leads the team responsible for originations and management of various national lending programs, including the New Markets Tax Credit program, Healthy Food Financing, and national sector lending such as for community facilities (e.g. education, health care) and clean energy.  She and her team work closely with borrowers and lending partners to develop flexible financing solutions, to assist in maximizing community impact and outcomes, and to manage transaction closings efficiently.

Before joining Reinvestment Fund, Fakih was Vice President, CDFI and Tax Credit Lending at U.S. Bank Impact Finance. She also managed the NMTC Program at Primary Care Development Corporation, a national CDFI focused on health care.  previously held positions in lending originations and asset management at Merrill Lynch Community Development Company and Nonprofit Finance Fund, a national CDFI. She brings extensive experience in community development lending to operating businesses, primarily nonprofit service-oriented and other community development organizations.

Fakih received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in finance, accounting and commerce from the University of Mumbai and her Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
