Philadelphia, PA, February 12—Reinvestment Fund is pleased to welcome Marland Buckner, Mike Davis and Vicki Lundy Wilbon to its Board of Directors. The new Board members bring varied professional experience from public affairs to education to real estate development, and an expansive understanding of communities and regions in the Southeastern United States.

Marland Buckner is Co-Founder and Principal of MB2 Solutions, a social impact focused public affairs firm with offices in Washington, DC, and Richmond, Virginia. Prior to co-founding MB2, Buckner served for seven years as Director of Federal Government Affairs for Microsoft Corporation in Washington, DC. During his tenure at Microsoft, Buckner worked closely with senior leadership and executive staff to integrate Microsoft’s philanthropic, policy, and political efforts. Buckner previously held several staff roles in the U.S. Congress. He has also served as a policy analyst at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and the Progressive Policy Institute. Buckner serves on the boards of the Richmond, Virginia Chapter of Communities in Schools, the Valentine Museum, and the Virginia Impact Investing Forum.
Mike Davis is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships for Sheltering Arms, an early childhood education organization operating 15 sites in the Atlanta metro area. Davis also founded and operates The Davis Collaborative, an education business consultancy enabling clients to scale their businesses and accomplish their strategic priorities. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff for Fulton County Schools. Prior to his appointment, Davis held various leadership positions with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), including special assistant to the superintendent, where he provided counsel on education policy and national education reform initiatives. Before joining CMS, Davis was a recruitment director with Teach For America.
Vicki Lundy Wilbon is a principal and Executive Vice President with The Integral Group LLC, an Atlanta-based real estate development and investment management firm. She is also President of Integral’s Community Development Division, responsible for leading an operation that has distinguished itself in the marketplace by completing some of the nation’s most successful and transformative residential and mixed-use developments through thoughtful and innovative master planning and implementation. Wilbon has approximately thirty years of experience in the real estate development industry, with vast expertise in “place-making” and multi-phased redevelopments. Active in civic, corporate and community organizations, Wilbon serves on the Georgia State University Honors College Board of Visitors and the St. Joseph Health System Board. Additionally, she has served on the Advisory Board of the Georgia Women’s Affordable Housing Network and the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA Board.
