Program Director - HBCU Brilliance Initiative

Christina Alexis is the Program Director – HBCU Brilliance Initiative. In this inaugural role, Christina will create a dynamic and comprehensive program design to support the advancement of HBCUs nationwide. Christina brings a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in strategic planning, fundraising, government affairs, marketing communications, and program/partnership development for nonprofits and higher education institutions. Her tenure as Vice President of the Office of Institutional Advancement at an HBCU in Atlanta showcases her ability to lead transformative initiatives and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

One notable achievement is her leadership in spearheading the first master planning initiative to reimagine land use at the historic institution in the West End community of Atlanta. This initiative demonstrates her capacity to navigate complex partnerships and engage with city and state leadership, community leaders, and neighboring institutions. Her experience in this role, coupled with her foundational education at Northeastern University and notable professional experiences, have equipped her well to lead the HBCU Brilliance Initiative at Reinvestment Fund, where she can continue to drive impactful social change.
