As a Managing Director, Community Lending, Robert Cox is responsible for leading originations in Reinvestment Fund’s core markets of Philadelphia, Baltimore and Atlanta. He has supported the creation or preservation of thousands of housing units, lending to developments across the affordable housing spectrum, including 4% and 9% LIHTC projects, homeownership developments, and both for-sale and rental NOAH development. He also has extensive experience financing mixed-use projects under Reinvestment Fund’s NMTC program, including hotels, community facilities, and grocer-anchored retail. Cox has been with the Reinvestment Fund since 2002. He previously worked as an attorney in private practice. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Public Administration from Penn.
