Jamitress Bowden

Jamitress Bowden is the Senior Director of External Relations. In this role, she supports and executes a bespoke communications strategy focused on fulfilling Reinvestment Fund’s mission by working across the organization’s orbit to lead strategic initiatives in community engagement, partnership development, media relations, and public policy advocacy.

Before joining Reinvestment Fund, she directed mission-driven work as a Vice President at BerlinRosen and held several roles in Congress, including Spokeswoman of the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform and Communications Director for the late Congressman A. Donald McEachin.

She studied Broadcast Journalism at East Carolina University and Political Communication at American University.
