Happy Holidays: Celebrating Our Community

Topic General

Reinvestment Fund is committed to making communities work for all people. The wealth we strive to build isn’t just about economics—it’s about being part of a social fabric that is strengthened through partnerships.

The past year pushed us to connect in ways we never had before; bringing years old partnerships into new endeavors to strengthen the early child care field; stretching our reach to develop data rich studies to inform policy; and supporting our staff, on a journey where everyone can thrive professionally and personally.

This holiday season, we celebrate our work together with a look at a few highlights from the year. Our impact is greater today because of our partnerships—thank you for the good you do!

Catalytic Grant-making and Technical Assistance

With a focus on reaching those directly affected by the pandemic, Reinvestment Fund worked with the support of foundations to launch grant led impacts and technical assistance. Programs like Coaching to Success and Train the Trainer allowed our staff to connect directly to those early childcare centers that were in most need of technical and financial support.

Transformative Food System Investment

We are committed to building a more equitable, sustainable and inclusive food system. Through programs like the Healthy Food Financing Initiative and the Philadelphia Food Justice Initiative we use capital and expertise to increase food access, reduce food insecurity and improve opportunities for all communities to lead healthy, vibrant lives.

Investing in Our Human Capital

Our Human Resources team was honored as 2021 winner of HR Award for Excellence in Talent Management. Led by Tracy Moore, Chief Human Resources Officer, the team was recognized for its robust and comprehensive talent management program that encourages all staff to bring their head and heart  to their work.

Advancing Equity

We believe in using our tools and resources to advance equity and eliminate racial disparities that stem from historic and systemic racism. Research published this past year focused on housing; including the evictions process and property assessment. And our lending is helping Black and brown entrepreneurs grow their enterprises and communities.

Join our network of investors who help us build more equitable communities…together! Invest with us. Support communities through a donation or by investing in our promissory note program. 100% of promissory note investments put capital toward projects in the communities we serve.
